- On arrival at the Bagdogra airport / Njp station, our chauffeur will welcome your presence and as the journey begins, he will brief you about your travel’s itinerary.
- As we ascend uphill from the plains, we take a halt at Mirik.
- The town is a popular destination for nature lovers and those seeking offering activities like boating, horse riding and exploring the famous tea gardens.
- Our next halt is at the Nepal Border market (Pashupati Nagar Market) This vibrant border market offers lively atmosphere, where visitors can find cheap goods, interact with locals and experience a glimpse into life in the border region.
- Other points of sight seeing are Gopaldhara Tea estate and Simana viewpoint.
- After the day’s expedition we drop you to the hotel. Check in and relax the evening at your leisure.
- To witness the mesmerizing rising of the sun from the Tiger hill, one has to start early. The pick up will arive at the hotel by 4 am. After capturing and cherishing the moment at Tiger hill, the next stop is Ghoom Monastery and Batasay loop.
- After these 3 sightings, the driver will drop you back to the hotel where you can catch up with the breakfast you missed.
- After breakfast, we will resume our expedition.
- Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Heritage Museum, Japanese Peace pagoda, Rope way, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center.
- After the day’s expedition we return back to the hotel.
- After finishing with the brunch of the day, we start the day’s expedition towards Gangtok.
- The day‘s journey will be filled with mesmerizing views of hills and slopes, streams and rivers, bushes and hamlet towns.
- On the way, we halt for quick snacks and then continue with our expedition.
- ‘Banjakri water falls’ It is a popular tourist attraction places near to Gangtok. It has a natural water fall cascading down the stream. Adventures like Zip line, Rock climbing, boating, restaurant n café, children park and selfie point will have your evening well spent.
- After wrapping up for the evening, the driver will drop you off to the hotel, where you can spend the evening at your leisure or stroll down to MG mark and explore the vibrant town at night.
- After early breakfast at the hotel, the driver will arrive at 8 am to initiate the expedition for the day. Tsongmo Lake, also known as Changgu Lake, is a glacial lake situated at the altitude 12,400 ft above sea level. The harshness sight of the terrain, tagged on by a spectacular view of Tsongmo lake which are then guarded by a true-hearted Indian soldiers is a sight and a profound feeling that you don’t want to miss.
- The next point of visit is Baba Harbhajan Mandir. A shrine that is dedicated to a soldier who got lost at the time of his duty. You should visit this place to take in the scenic beauty and hear the tales that surround this place.
- Nathu la Pass, the strategically-important mountain pass located at nearly 14,200ft above sea level used to be part of the ancient Silk Road facilitating trade and supply between Indian and Tibet of China. The pass is covered in snow all year round and the view of the surrounding peaks from here is splendid. So make sure you wear enough warm clothes.
It is the day when you say goodbye to giant mountains of Sikkim and head back to the plains. Have a good meal , pack your bags and take care of your stuff while you travel.
